

Financial Assistance
The Rénoclimat program promotes energy efficient renovations meaning work that is carry out for the purpose of reducing a home’s energy consumption while improving its level of comfort.
Please note that to receive financial assistance under the Rénoclimat program, all the required conditions must be respected for every type of work. Take the time to read more about these conditions in the Applicant's Guide (in French only) and if necessary, ask your Rénoclimat advisor any questions you may have regarding this subject.

Canada Greener Homes Grant
In Québec, registering for the Rénoclimat program is the only way to access the Canada Greener Homes Grant.
To learn more aubout this federal program, please refer to our recent notice.
If you need a loan to finance your renovations, please visit Canada Greener Homes Loan (canada.ca) for information on the Canadian loan initiative for greener homes. To be eligible for the loan, your renovations must not have been started before you apply.
Multiple-unit housing
Do you own a duplex, triplex or multiple-unit residential building? Financial assistance granted under the Rénoclimat program will be higher than for single-family homes.
Non-eligible work
Some renovations do not significantly improve the energy performance of a home and are not eligible for financial assistance under the Rénoclimat program.
Steps to follow
To qualify for the Rénoclimat program, you must apply for an energy evaluation of your home before undertaking any work, then complete the renovations and ask for a post-work energy evaluation.
