Do you have a heating system in your home that uses oil?

Are you thinking of replacing it with a more efficient system that pollutes less?

Financial assistance is available to you under the Chauffez vert program for the replacement of fossil-fueled systems (heating system and water heater) with systems that use electricity or other renewable sources of energy.

  • You will improve the energy efficiency of your home.
  • You will reduce your greenhouse gas emissions.
  • You can benefit from financial assistance.
  • And that is without taking into account the recurrent savings generated by a new high performance system.

Notice to participants

  • If you registered for Chauffez vert before March 31, 2018, financial assistance will be granted under the rules in force at the time of your registration.
  • Participants who registered for Chauffez vert before March 31, 2018, may ask for their files to be reassessed under the new eligibility rules, provided work had not begun as of March 31, 2018.

The purpose of the Chauffez vert program offered by the Government is to encourage the owners of homes equipped with fossil fuel heating systems (other than natural gas) to replace them with renewable energy systems. This will help reduce their energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions.

Transition énergétique Québec has been responsible for administering the program since April 1, 2017.
