The content of the normative framework has legal value. It prevails over the website, brochures and other information published about the program.

This normative framework was approved by the board of directors of Transition énergétique Québec and administered by the ministère de l'Énergie et des Ressources naturelles. Since October 20, 2022, the program is administered by the ministère de l’Environnement, de la Lutte contre les changements climatiques, de la Faune et des Parcs. The normative framework remains in effect.
