Knowledge acquisition

The acquisition of knowledge is essential in an energy transition context. It will allow us to understand where Québec is in its transition and, based on new analytical data that will be shared with the various stakeholders, it will also provide more detailed and reliable knowledge of the energy sectors.

2030 Vision

The development and sharing of energy transition knowledge will foster innovation and the participation of stakeholders. Meanwhile, the knowledge underpinning the government's priorities and planned actions to meet its targets will continue to help it plot its course.

  1. Improve sectoral profiles
  2. Improve the reliability of energy data and forecasts
  3. Share energy data
  4. Improve our knowledge of the costs and socio-economic impacts of the energy transition
  5. Determine the environmental and economic impacts of the various types of energy
