Exemplarity of the government

Leading by example, the Gouvernement du Québec will chart the course of the energy transition, systemically prioritizing it for example when upgrading its buildings and vehicle fleets. To facilitate this implementation and encourage accountability, it will optimize synergy among its human resources and step up the use of management tools. 

2030 Vision

The Gouvernement du Québec will have integrated energy efficiency and the prioritization of renewable energy into its organizational culture. It will lead by example with good energy management practices and will pave the way for Québec to complete its energy transition.

Objectives 

1. Advance the use of renewable energy in government buildings
2. Step up efforts to implement energy efficiency initiatives and to prioritize the use of renewable energy
3. Reduce the unit energy consumption of institutional vehicle fleets
