Off-grid power systems
The application of the planned measures will provide communities with an opportunity to get involved in energy demand and supply management. Valuable contacts have already been established with the various stakeholders and partners involved. It is clear that the energy transition in the communities concerned is well underway and that several projects are being studied or are being completed. The 2026 roadmap helps build a solid foundation for the future.
2030 Vision
The consumption of petroleum products in off-grid power systems will be significantly reduced, notably through energy efficiency improvements to buildings and the use of renewable energy sources. To achieve this, local and Indigenous communities as well as the private sector will have adopted an integrated approach.
